International Educational Programs

Through its ISP network partnership, St. George School Madrid connects students with peers worldwide, creating opportunities that extend well beyond the Spanish capital. These collaborations bring together young people from different cultures through both virtual exchanges and in-person programs, helping them develop global perspectives while practicing meaningful communication across borders.

The programs span multiple disciplines and age groups. Younger students explore creativity through ISP Artists or engage in cultural exchanges, while their older peers can pursue more specialized paths:

  • ISP Model United Nations — training in diplomacy and public speaking
  • ISP Changemakers — developing social projects with real grant funding
  • ISP Filmmakers — creating films under professional guidance
  • ISP Scientists — participating in genuine scientific research

Sports Programs at St. George School Madrid

Physical development forms an integral part of life at St. George School Madrid, where athletic activities help students build health, teamwork, and discipline. The school supports both mainstream and niche sports, ensuring everyone finds something that resonates. Options include football, basketball, tennis, athletics, gymnastics, judo, cricket, netball, ice skating, and multi-sport sessions for the youngest participants.

Enrichment Activities

Beyond athletics, St. George School Madrid offers clubs that nurture creative talents and technical skills. These sessions give students space to explore artistic interests while connecting with like-minded classmates. Activities range from music school and rock band to arts and crafts, coding, chess, drama, and a young chefs’ club.

School Community

Leadership development thrives through student governance at St. George School Madrid, where older students take responsibility across various areas—serving as prefects, sports and arts ambassadors, librarians, council members, or house captains.

The house system strengthens school spirit by dividing students and staff into four groups that compete in sports, academics, and creative challenges throughout the year. The winning house claims the Annual House Shield. Meanwhile, younger students benefit from after-school care, where qualified staff organize creative projects, reading sessions, and outdoor play.
